Via fake login pages is the easiest method to hack passwords. Identifying a fake login page is very simple but lots of people ignore to do some small checks before entering the login information and fall in the trap. I have seen a many people paying 400$ for a fake login page of paypal. This proves that there are still people falling in this trap. This is just an example, there are many fake websites of yahoomail, banks, Facebook, hotmail, gmail,orkut,myspace etc …

This article is an attempt to show what a hacker does to hack your password via fake login pages and how to defend yourself from those fake logins.I will try to keep this post as simple as possible, there may be several technical details which you can safely leave out.

Warning: Purpose of this article is not giving you hacking techniques so I will not responsible for any kind of lose.

What goes on behind when you enter your login details in login form??

When you enter your login details in any login form and press enter they are submitted to another page which reads these login information and checks the database if you entered the accurate username and passowrd, if yes then you will be taken to your account else you will get an error page.

What an hacker does??

A hacker creates a fake page which looks just same as the original page and some how tricks you to enter your login details in that page. These login details are then submitted to a file.At this step the hacker has two options He can either savethe login details on his server machine or he can straight get them mailed to his email address. All the above said things happen behind the scenes, you will have no hint of it. When you submint you login details for the first time your details are submitted to the hacker and you will be directed to a error page. When you enter your login details once more you will be logged in to your account successfully. It’s quite ordinary for us to enter the login details wrongly sometimes so you will not become doubtful when you get the error page.

How to identify fake login page traps ??

1. Always verify site before entering your login detail.

2. Type URL directly into address bar (Never copy paste).

3. Never follow any links you get in email and during chatting even if they are from your friends.

4. Have look in address bar and verify that Address is correct as it should be

For hacking purpose some people buy doamins which look like to the original site eg... pay-pal for paypal, 0rkut for orkut, yahooo for yahoo.

Some times you may over look these small differences and fall in trap.

5. Please do report to the hosting site or the original site holder when you discover a fake login page.

6. If you feel like you submitted your information in a fake login page change your password instantly.

The value of the text boxes will be passed to the login.php or logincheck.asp page where it will be checked using the query string. If it doesn't get an entry fulfilling the query and will arrive at end of file a message of login failed will be displayed. Every thing seems to be OK. But wait a minute. Think again. Is every thing really OK ?!! What about the query ?!! Is it OK. Well if you have made a page like this so what will you do then a hacker can simply login successfully without knowing the password. Want to know How ?

Lets look at the querry again.

"Select * from table1 where login='"&log& "' and password='" &pwd& "' "

Now if a user types his login name as "Jhon" and password as "h3x3r" then these values will pass to the php or asp page with post way and then the above query will become

"Select * from table1 where login=' Jhon ' and password=' h3x3r ' "

Thats fine. There will be an entry Jhon and h4x3r in login and password fields in the database so we will get a message as login successful. Now what if I type loginname as "Jhon" and password as
hi' or 'a'='a in the password text box ? The query will become as follows:

"Select * from table1 where login=' Jhon ' and password=' hi' or 'a'='a ' "

And submit and bingo###I will get the message as Login successful !! Did you see the neatness of hacker which was due to lack of care of web designer ? !!
The query gets satisfied as query changes and password needs to 'hi' or 'a' needs to be equal to 'a'. Clearly password is not 'hi' but at the same time 'a'='a' . So condition is satisfied. And a hacker is in with login "Jhon" !! You can try the following in the password text box if the above doesn't work for several websites:

Since from the very beginning of this blog, I had in mind that most of people do not use Blogger just because of its "limitations", or whatever they think blogger has, so I have decided to creat unique templates that would blow people's minds not only because of their designs, but also for its many unique and out-of-the-box features.

Now I bring you a template that no one has never made for Blogger: a video template. Yes, now you guys can showcase your videos using blogger! ins't that awesome?

The fact is that I am very excited about this template, because this one may turn out in a revolution on Blogger templates, People will now see that Blogger is not as limited as they thought it was, believe me: I didn't even start describing its features yet.

I have been working on this template for the past weeks, finding a way to improve it each time I put my hands on it. The best thing was the help I have got from my gift-minded friends Abu Farhan and Aneesh (from Bloggerplugins.org). They are (seriously) the best and fastest Blogger developers that I have ever known, I am very lucky to get to work with this guys.

Now let me present you BloggerTube: A video template that creates a perfect link between Blogger (The best blogging tool in my opinion) and Youtube (The biggest and most used online video service on the internet).

There are many reasons for my excitement, but I can summarize them in two simple ones:

You may have seen Google Ads showing just below every post title (but above the post body) on different blogs or websites. You can see it on this blog also. But have you ever tried to apply this on your blog. Some of you may have tried it by adding the adsense code in post, but its not possible to put adsense code every time you make a post. or still if you do this, it would be very hectic.

Here I am showing the simple trick using which, you will have to do it only once and it will automatically be showing below the Title of each and every post of your blog.Just follow the simple steps showing below:

Step 1:
First of all setup your Adsense in whatever format you wish or which suits your blog and get the code.

Step 2:
When you have have got adsense code, you will have to Convert this code HERE. Parsing is nothing but the conversion of the special symbols of adsense into xml supported language. After parsing you will get the converted code. Just Copy the code and then proceed for the next step.

Step 3:
Now login to your Blogger Account and go to Layout >> Edit HTML. Here you then Click on the “Expand Widget Templates” box.

In HTML code box find (Ctrl+F) the below peice of code:

When you found this code just put your parsed adsense code before the

tag. You code will look like this:

When you have done this, dont hurry to save it. First see the preview of it and if it shows perfectly, you can save it now. But it may sometimes not show perfectly depending upon your template style or if you are using ads other than from Google Adsense. Well in this case, dont worry, You will have to change the first step. Means when you get the adsense code (Whether from Google or else) you will have to do something more before Parsing it(i.e. Step 2).

After getting the adsense code, just add a peice of code just before and after your original adsense code as shown below:

This code is now the result of your First step instead of previous one. Now copy this whole code and then go to the Step 2 (i.e. Parsing).

How to Remove Links from Header and Post Titles.

The header on Blogger is linked to the Main Page. This enables readers to quickly navigate to the Home page if they are on the Post Pages. The Home Page contains one or more Posts depending on what you have set in Settings---->Formatting---->Show __ Posts on Man Page.

1. Increasing my blog loading speed. Besides setting my blog reading to 2 posts per page, this is useful to boost your blog speed as well.
2. Let my readers choose what post they would like to read. I can't stand reading extremely long post and I know not everyone likes rubbish talk. Let them read if they want by clicking Read More. :)

Adding "Read More" is easy in Wordpress but not in Blogspot. I have followed many guides from different bloggers and I discovered this one really easy and it works. Are you ready for it? Let's go on.

How to Put Goggle Adsense On Specific Blogger Posts

Google Adsense ads are the topic-specific ads that are placed on monetized Blogger blogs (and many other websites, including Ehow). The Blogger layout does not give users the option to only place Adsense on specific blog posts. But if you have a few blog posts that generate lots of hits, you might want to add more advertisements so your Adsense revenue increases. At the same time, you may not want all those advertisements "junking" up your blog's homepage. Read on for how to place Google Adsense on a specific Blogger post.

Step 1

Sign into your Blogger account and click "Layout" on the blog dashboard.
Step 2

Make sure you are on the Page Elements tab. Depending on what Blogger template you're using, your blog will have either two or three columns. On the left most column click "Add a gadget."
Step 3

Find Adsense and select it by clicking the blue square to the right of the explanation. Choose the Google Adsense format and color combination that works best for your blog. You can always go back and easily change these options later.
Step 4

When you save your options the Adsense widget will appear in your Blogger layout. Even if this is not where you want your ads to appear, leave it in this spot for now. You can easily move it later.
Step 5

In order to tell Blogger to only place Adsense ads on specific pages you need to modify the HTML code. From the Layout Tab click on "Edit HTML."
Step 6

Check the box to Expand Widget Templates. If you don't do this, you won't be able to find the code for the Google Adsense widget.

Find the Blogger Adsense Widget Code

Scroll down until you find the code. Since the Adsense widget is the first item on the left side column, it should be among the first widget codes. (Enlarge the picture on the left so you can see what type of HTML code you're looking for.)
Step 8

Edit the Blogger Template

There are two lines of HTML code that you'll have to add to the Blogger template in order to put Adsense on specific blog pages. Copy the first code from the picture on the left.
Step 9

Paste the code into the Blogger tempate replacing "Enter URL Here" with the URL of the blog post where you want to place Google ads. You can use the graphic to the left to see exactly where to add the line into the code.
Step 10

Close HTML Code in Blogger Template

Now you need to add the second line of code. Copy the closing second tag from the graphic in Step 8. Then skip down three lines from where you placed the above code and paste it. Refer to the picture on the left for more details.
Step 11

Click the orange Save Template button to save the changes.
Step 12

View your blog. You won't see the Adsense ads on your blog's homepage (unless that was the URL you entered into the code). Go to the blog post where you placed the ads to make sure they are correctly on the page.
Step 13

If you want to change the location of the ads on this blog post go back to Layout>Page Elements. Simply drag and drop the Google Adsense Widget to another place in your Blogger template.

Before I start, let me share with you why I like to put read more in my posts.

Hmmm,…I want to write an article about blog backup. It’s a good thing to backup your blog. Presently, so many webmasters found that their blogs have been suspended or even hacked. If you create a backup for your blog, then you can always restore your article.

How To Improve Your Ranking of Search Enginee

Earlier this year I wrote a post about the stimulus package that passed Congress in February. I titled the post Government Stimulus Package because I thought the only thing it was stimulating was government. I got lucky with this, because apparently a lot of people searched for the phrase “government stimulus package” to learn about what was in it.

The post did ok on Digg and Reddit, nothing spectacular but it brought in some traffic. It may have gotten a few other links, but not a ton. A few days after the post was published, I noticed that I was getting some traffic the search engines. The post was on the front page of Google, around 6 or so for the keyword phrase “government stimulus package.” This is the first step in improving your SERPs.
1. Look at Your Stats

Find out which pages you are getting traffic to from the search engines and what keywords are being used to get there. This is where we need to focus. Improving your ranking for a term from 7429 to 43 takes your traffic from 0 to 0. If you can improve from 9 to 1, you will see a huge increase in traffic if it is a phrase that people are searching for.

Now that we have a few pages that are getting some traffic and the keywords they are getting it from, we have to do a little keyword research.
2. Keyword Research

The first step is to find out which phrases we want to target. Look at the keywords that are getting the most traffic and find out where you currently rank. You could use your web analytics program for this, and then check the rankings on Google.

At this point, you can also use a

keyword search tool to find out how much traffic each of these phrases gets.

Now we want to focus our efforts on the terms we rank the highest for that get the most search traffic.
3. Internal SEO

Have you ever written anything similar to this before? Go through your archives and find where you have mentioned this topic before. Update the old article with a link to the new one using the keywords you are trying to rank for.

If this is a topic that people want to know more about, consider writing another post or two expanding on the first one. In each new post, link to the original article with one of the keyword phrases you are targeting.

Next, go back to the post you are hoping to rank higher. Is the keyword already in the article? Consider making it bold. Is there a section where the phrase would make a good header? Consider adding it. Don’t stuff the article full of keywords as you still want the people that come to enjoy your writing. However, if these changes can be made without affecting the quality, they may help improve your ranking a little bit.

These things do two things. They show the search engines what your pages are about (hopefully the keywords you are targeting) and they show them that they are important pages. The more links you have pointing to the page, the more important you are making it in Google’s eyes.
4. Watch your Rankings and Traffic Surge

I went back to my post and made the keyword bold when I used it. Then I went through the archives and found another post that talked about the stimulus package and added a link to the new post. I also wrote a few more articles in the following weeks that talked about the stimulus package, so I linked back in each of those as well. The result? I moved up to #1 in Google for the phrase “government stimulus package” before it passed. It brought thousands of visitors to my blog, and the week that the bill passed is my highest traffic week ever.

The part of this that is really powerful is that all of this was done several days after the article was posted. The regular readers had read it already, and anyone who was going to link to it already had. I was then able to move from #6 to #1 in Google simply by telling Google what the page was about and that I thought it was important. Never underestimate the power of linking to yourself internally.

I have since dropped behind irs.gov and recovery.gov, but that post has been viewed more times than any other. It also gave me a valuable lesson in SEO that has helped increase my search traffic to many other posts as well.

hen I discuss blogging with others we invariably end up talking about how to make a blog successful. It may not be the thrust of our conversation, but it does come up. We all want to know how to do what we do better. Today’s article discusses Google PageRank and demographics and which is more relevant to determining your blog’s success.

What is Google Page Rank?
Google PageRank is a way that Google determines the value of a web site or blog. Google considers links to your blog as votes. However, not all links are equal–Google determines whether the links are coming from spam sites, blogs with some authority, or blogs with great authority. The number of “votes” you have determines your PageRank, or relevancy to the blogosphere.

In other words, it’s about the incoming links. However, if Aunt Laurie is linking to you it’s nice but it doesn’t count as much as it would if ProBlogger were linking to you.

Are you curious about your own Google PageRank? You can find your own PageRank without installing the toolbar. The higher the number, the more popular the site.

Is Google PageRank important? Do I need to worry about it?
If you’ve read any of my other articles, you know I don’t hold much stock in ranking. My opinion is that you build a community and support others. When you support others, they support you and everyone’s popularity grows. Engaging is key.

Here’s an example of why I don’t buy into Google Page Rank. I have three blogs: Blogging Basics 101, Bloggy Giveaways, and Don’t Try This at Home. Two of those blogs have a page rank of four, one of them has a page rank of two. I’ll save you the guess work and just tell you: Blogging Basics 101 and Don’t Try This at Home both have the four rank, while Bloggy Giveaways has the two rank. This makes no sense and let me show you why. These are my traffic statistics for each of those sites from February, 2009:

Bloggy Giveaways had 20,000 visits; 11,800 uniques; and 38,000 pageviews.
Don’t Try This at Home had 3,400 visits; 2,500 uniques; and 4,300 pageviews.

Which one of those would you consider a more successful site? According to Google PageRank, the personal blog I only update about seven times a month is out-ranking a blog I updated daily and which has steady traffic. If you were a marketer looking to advertise at one of those sites and only looked at Google PageRank, you’d make a mistake with your investment. The GPR is meaningless. What matters to you is my traffic and my audience. If you assume that GPR is handling that research for you, you’re missing the boat.

If Google Page Rank doesn’t matter, what does?
In a word: demographics. These days it’s all about who you reach. It’s no secret that the hot market right now is moms. If you’re writing a mommy blog or any blog that caters to women, marketers are probably interested in what you have to say and who you’re saying it to. Your job now is to find out who you’re talking to. I used Survey Monkey to build a questionnaire my readers could complete in under two minutes.

Running a demographic survey doesn’t only help you market yourself to advertisers, it also helps you improve your blog. I had a pretty good idea that Bloggy Giveaways has a predominantly female audience who are mostly moms. Until I ran a demographic survey, though, I didn’t know much more and couldn’t pinpoint my numbers. Now I know that I have a 100% female readership and 77% are moms. I was also able to see how many kids they have and what ages the kids are. I also discovered that my site’s readers are 95% white, 2% African American, 2% Asian, and 1% Hispanic/Mexican. That was a complete shock to me and I spent the better part of last month engaging in dialog with my friends to see how I can change that to be more diverse if Bloggy Giveaways comes back online.

Take the time to engage with your readers and learn who they are. Whether you’re looking to monetize your site or not, a demographic survey will really show you who your readers are and what they expect from your site. Knowing those two things will help you do what you do even better.

The word Older Post or Newer Post can certainly be changed as you want, for example, changed with “Next” or “Previous”, even the words not only can be changed with other words but also can be changed with images or icons. Changing Older Post and Newer Post with Next and Previous

Follow the steps below:

1. Log in to blogger with your ID
2. Click Layout
3. Click Edit HTML tab
4. Click “Download Full Template”, please back up first your template (important)

Please check the small box beside Expand Widget Template

Wait for a while until the process finished
Find the following code on your template:
Look at the code in red printed.
Change the code with the word Next and the code with the word Previous
Click Save Template button
